Description
I created this for Easter as an alternativ to ordinary painted eggs. The model comes in 4 parts, one solid egg and one splitt in 2 with a key. the printed size is 60 mm high, give or take like an average egg. I printed this in PLA on my Original Prusa i3 MK2, using a 0.10 layer height and a 5% infill and no support. I did have a very small clearance on the key so that the two halves would line up correctly, which meant I had to sand down the sides of the key to make it fit properly (but it was worth it). What you could do is scale the key in your slicer from 100% to 99-98%. Overall I am happy with the result even if some details got lost, and I hope to get this painted soon.
