All prices on Pinshape are in USD ($).

How much are the fees/royalties on each sale?
Pinshape does not take a cut out of the designer's markup. Instead, we add 30.0% of the designer’s markup to the sale price for designs.
For example:
A designer sets download price as $5.00 - The final price is: $5.00 + ($5.00 x 30%) = $6.50.
How and when do designers get paid?
Designers will be paid through Paypal on the 15th of every month for earned balances over $30 USD.
How do I update my Paypal information?
To update your Paypal information:
- Go to your Account Settings section by hovering over your image avatar in the upper right hand corner of your screen and selecting "Settings."
- Next, select the "Account Settings" tab.
- Enter the email linked to your Paypal account in the "Paypal email" box.
- Enter your current password into the appropriate box and click "Update."
Your Paypal information is now up-to-date!
Do I need to pay taxes on my marketplace earnings?
Probably, but we’re not experts. Any earnings that you generate from Pinshape are your responsibility to manage appropriately within your local country. We cannot provide tax advice on your earnings as tax laws vary greatly from country to country. When in doubt, get professional advice on tax-law and filing taxes.
Are there any content restrictions on the designs I upload?
Yes. Generally, if Grandma is offended, keep it to yourself. Questionable content reported to Pinshape will be reviewed and removed, if necessary. Make sure you read Pinshape’s Acceptable Use and Content Policy for guidelines.
Designers who violate Pinshape’s content policy will risk account deletion.
Who owns the designs once they are uploaded?
The designers always maintain ownership of their designs, but choose which licenses to offer their designs under. Details of these licenses can be found in our Terms & Conditions.
What do I do if someone is uploading my designs to Pinshape without permission?
We take violations of IP within the design community very seriously. Designer’s who infringe on others’ copyrights, risk account deletion.
If you suspect that a designer is infringing on your copyright please attempt to contact that designer directly and politely inform them of your concerns and request removal of the shape.
Failing that, please follow the complete DMCA Takedown Procedure.
Can I sell designs based on copyrighted material?
Our Terms & Conditions prohibit uploading content that you don’t own or have permission to use. We expect that our designers hold the copyrights to their portfolio of designs.
Realistically, we cannot review all designs or verify possible copyright infringement. We encourage users to report any known violations to Pinshape by following the DMCA Takedown Procedure.
How do I prepare a design for upload?

- Convert your design file to .STL or .OBJ
- Check your model for technical errors and repair them
These steps can be found in our preparation guide.

Pinshape supports .STL and .OBJ files, as well as .ZIP files containing those types.
For information on changing file formats and preparing your shapes for upload, view our preparation guide.

For information on changing file formats and preparing your shapes for upload, view our preparation guide.
What dimensions should my design images be?

These dimensions will make sure that your design photo is properly fitted and doesn't look pixelated in the listing.
How do I view a 3D render using Safari?
By default, the Safari browser on desktop doesn't support WebGL, which is what is used in the design render. To update your settings and fix the problem, complete the following steps:
- Open the Safari Menu and select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab in the Preferences window.
- At the bottom of that window, check the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.
- Open the Develop menu in the menu bar and select Enable WebGL
