Description
SummaryFort Wood addition to excellent base files by hroncok of Statue Liberty and Base Building. Happy Independence Day !Print SettingsPrinter: Yasin 200 Dual Extruder & Winbo MiniRafts: NoSupports: NoResolution: 0.2Infill: 10Notes: Created for the 4th July Independence Day in USA tomorrow. 3D Designed the Fort Wood plinth on Liberty Island (formally Bedloe's Island) that the Statue of Liberty was later built on, based on original dwgs found on internet. This upload includes the original Thingiverse Statue of Liberty with base building by hroncok, published Mar 25, 2013 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:65869). Thanks hroncok and other contributors to these source files.Post-PrintingFitting TogetherCan print either as single part - requires only to place the Base Building and Statue of Liberty on top. Or, you can print it separate parts (much larger final model) - parts should fit neatly together and can be glued in place, as needed. How I Designed ThisSolidworks, Meshmixer, Simplify3DFound the plans for Fort Wood online, used it as an image to create the 3D in Solidworks. Scaled it in Meshmixer to match the original Statue of Liberty and Base Building - to create the Fort Wood Plinth.stl - which is a single piece I then used Meshmixer to slice the Fort Wood Plinth STL into sections, such that each can fit to my printers bed allowing you to scale as needed.
