Egyptian Ankh

The Ankh is a symbol used frequently in Ancient Egyptian art, representing eternal life. Gods and goddesses were often depicted carrying Ankhs and using them in ceremonies involving the transition into the afterlife, therefore it is considered to be both a symbol of immortality and a key to the eternal realms.
