Description
Summary As a photographer I have lots of electronic devices that take all kinds (and numbers) of batteries. Yeah there are loads of AA and AAA battery boxes out there, and sure you can stick paper in them to indicate whether they are charged or not, but when you buy CR2's or CR2430's then boxes are thinner on the ground so you leave them in the packaging, then use one, then the one remaining bumbles around your bag, short circuits and/or leaks. Pah, not any more. AA and AAA pots There are 3 varieties, round for 3 or 4 batteries (very inefficient), linear and offset for 2, 3 or 4 cells. If you think you might want a 6, let me know and I'll knock one out. All with slots so you can add your "I'm charged" indicator. As well as a lid, these also need a bolt printing out as well. CR2, CR123 and 18650 pots Designed for a single cell, CR2 and CR123 cells are not rechargeable, but the 18650 is. Don't forget a lid as well. CR2430 pot Urgh, coin batteries. As well as a lid, this pot also has an insert (print 2 of the inners) to separate the batteries. Yep, 3... I had 3. Sorry. Downloading Sorry about the order the files appear to be in, there doesn't appear a way to sort alphabetically other than drag things around. If you have a preference for a single box, your best bet is probably to download the whole lot (bandwidth permitting) and then let your operating system order them. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Pretty much anything goes. All the pots are designed to use the Ultimakers "Print one-at-a-time" setting as well, so you can load the print plate and not worry about the drag edges. How I Designed This I started with the CR2 pots that I needed quite urgently, then moved to the 2430's and the insert. Then I realised the 18650's would be good for transport as well, CR123's are no different. I then got clever with the same style for the AAA range... fail (in my opinion). So I designed the linear and offset pots for them.
