Description

Summary This model of Asteros Hydrogen 3D printed generator is built from 3 printed components designed in Tinkercad and printed on very well calibrated 3D printer, Steel 316L plates cuted on laser cuter designed on AutoCAD 2007 to match the 3D printed cell separator. With this project, several groups of students can work as a team to achieve Architect and mechanical design improvements. Print this model to enjoy instant car fuel saving, or get inspired to create and print your own HHO Generator ! With this I hope you can understand how big is the universe of 3D printing. More upcoming projects soon. Plates DXF file. Assembling documents and parts list + printing video tutorial. Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: It is recommended to use Brim of at least 4.8 mm when printing ABS. Scale it to fit your building volume or print separate the upper barb out and glue it with acetone. Carefully check the proper connecting of the separator, due it is important, if not glued will separate and when powered will short and thus lead to overheat and destroy the generator and may occur risk of explosion. How I Designed This Why 3D printed I designed this hydrogen generator to try saving from my fuel bills. The simple reasons I choose 3D printer is that only 3D printer can make the separator and the rest of the parts for a few hours , even some parts can only be 3D printed. Anybody with 3D Printer can print one for himself I use to work the very early bird of this HHO generator on CNC machine but to achieve good result I should get very expensive jewelry CNC machine and thus make me think for other less expensive way. I stuck with the best choice with very bright future as 3D printing.

Project: Asteros B708a 3d printed Hydrogen Generator Objectives: This project covers a wide range of students who can learn on how far reached science and how this Hydrogen generator using every submitted ampere current to produce hydrogen, and not least how it is produced with the help of a relatively new but very fast growing area as 3D printing. The students can try also to design even more further the generator and make it separating HH from the O and make it separator, or changing the shape in better look and designer way. Audiences: Ages from 18+ would be appropriate for this Project since HHO is highly explosive and special care is need for handling and manipulating. Preparation: Computer with internet access and 3D modeling software. Thing the students need is 3D printer, then the SSteel plates can be ordered for cutting with the DXF files provided on laser cutter from relevant company. Step 1: Make any changes to the model with Tinkercad or similar 3D editing software, respectively and the DXF files for the Plates with AutoCAD. Step 2: Print all parts of the generator on 3D printer in color of your choice. Step 3: Order the SSteel plates and start assembling the generator as shown on the pictures, any changes to the design have to get in count. Result: The most innovative and engineering minded student should get achieved to bring the HHO generator at least to better appearance with minor to major improvements, or even better to bring the generator to next level and make it separator.
