Description

Summary This is a reverse engineered model of the slide lock for a Cooler Master MasterCase 5 Optical drive bay. Designed for people who want to print out their own in some other color than black. It is a direct replacement for the inner slide mechanism of the optical drive bays. It does fit within the original outer shell. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: You could probably print this in PLA, although I would probably print it in PET (T or G) or Nylon of some kind. Most cases do not get hot enough internally to need ABS or other exotic filaments. I have printed this myself and it does fit perfectly. PETG with 0.25 mm layers, 2 perimeters, 2 bottom layers, 3 top layers, 20% infill. How I Designed This Reverse engineered an existing part from my personal MasterCase 5 Pro. It is built out of two parts so that it can easily be printed on an FDM style printer without supports. Custom Section Matching Outer Shell http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1522047
