Description

SummaryThis is a mount for the Logitech c270 webcam. It can be used on just about anything. I needed it to mount to a 20x40mm extrusion rail on my 3D printer. It fastens in place with a 3D printed bolt and can easily be taken off and moved around. I really didn't want to drill holes anywhere to install a camera so this one just screws down wherever you need it. The mount is very solid and does not vibrate. Great for mounting as a 3D printer camera, webcam, or security camera.Print SettingsPrinter: C-bot coreXYRafts: NoSupports: NoResolution: 200 micronInfill: 35%Notes: Everything was placed in this plate to print as is. You do not need to move any of the files around or reorient them. You may need to print the files individually if you have a poorly tuned printer. Some of the parts in the plate are really close together and if your printer is not set up right it may have trouble making all the pieces. Also, if your printer is not well tuned you may have trouble printing the bolt and clamp due to the threads. The bolt used in this model is the exact same as the Makerbolt, so if you can print the Makerbolt without a problem you will be fine. Post-PrintingYou will need four M5 bolts and M5 nuts to connect the camera arms together. After that you can move them however you like ant tighten them down. How I Designed ThisFor this design I merged the camera mount for the c270 webcam from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159406 with the bolt clamp from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159406. I made a minor adjustment to the clamp to make it larger so it would fit on a 20mm extrusion rail. I also made one of the camera arms a little thinner.
