Ender 3v2 Bullseye Filament guide

Created for Ender 3 V2, also works with ender 3 and 3pro apparently. So far I have had a 100 percent success with filament feeds. It never misses (hence the bullseye name).

Of the photos shown for this print, one is my cheap dual gear extruder (It's a fairly common and very worthwhile upgrade). If you have one of those then this print is really useful to you. I am not sure if the original stock extruder aligns the same as the dual gear. If any stock extruder users use this and it works for them? please let me know in the comments and I will update the text for future users (((edit:- There have been LOTS of people downloading it, absolutely nobody has bothered to even like it in the months it has been getting downloaded much less confirm it works on a stock extruder. People eh? lol ))).  The stock extruder versions are both on my thingiverse page (plastic and metal are both slightly different) .

I have took my (now deleted) original filament guide and made it into a full enclosure. You now feed the filament into the opening where the narrowing cone channel aligns the filament exactly with the feed opening of the extruder. No more fiddling around trying to put the filament in a tiny hole.  I find it especially useful when using soft floppy TPU.  Filament changes are super easy now. 

As with the previous version this design retains the function of keeping filament away from the Z lead screw and avoids any unwanted grease contamination during a filament change.

The first test version of this I made for myself used a 1.8 hole at the outlet end (nearest to the extruder). Clearance at the outlet was initially cut to a minimum to keep alignment tight.  Everything was fine until I had to remove a PLA roll. When I pulled the filament back through the system, the melted bit at the end had formed a small blob that got stuck at the guides orifice, meaning I had to unbolt it and snip the end to pull it through. As a result of that issue I made an alteration to the outlet and increased the size to 2mm. This both allows for any variation in print size and also any minor deformation of the route through the guide during printing. I printed out the 2mm version and it has been faultless in every respect with no repeats of the problem the test version had.  The size increase did not change the faultless feed of the original smaller hole version.

For those who have a printer set up that is making things 'undersize' and want a wider opening which will minimise their need for post print cleanup of the opening? I added a 2.5mm version (untested). Personally I think 2.5 is a little too big and (for most users) it will add potential for 'misses' when pushing the filament through the guide and into the extruder, but the option is there for those that may want it and found the 2mm version too restrictive for their machines.

Print it with the feeding cone flat to the bed. No support. Check your filament slides cleanly through the guide before fitting it to the printer. 

People don't leave likes anymore. You can only be mugged off for so long and it may get deleted or put back on the 'buy me a coffee' list so get it free while you can. You can guess I don't hold out much hope there. A little thanks goes a long way.
