Description
Tired of the same old mobile phone stands? The ones that you have to bring with you in a separate pocket or the ones that attach to your phone but only have limited range and you can't hang your phone? Well CanStandYa is the solution.
I made this so I could adjust the viewing angle of my phone in both the portrait and landscape directions. I also wanted to be able to hang my multimeter and I merged two ideas to create this. When not being used the stand lays flat against the phone. To use it and adjust the angle simply pinch the levers on both sides to move one of the plates to a different location on the rail. If you want to hang your phone, multimeter, or anything else you attach it to just release the pins on one of the plates. All pieces use minimal support but it is suggested that the pins on the plates use custom supports which I have included. See drawing of where to place the supports.
Will it fit my phone or other item?
The short answer is I don't know. However this model (Model A) does fit my LG G5 and it is officially on the confirmed list of phones that it works on. To determine if it will work with your phone see the basic rail plate dimensions for this model and see if it works on your phone. Be mindful of where the camera, leds, and/or thumb switch is on your phone. If you think it will work then give it a try. If you download it and it works for your phone I would appreciate feedback and I'll put your model phone on the confirmed list. I am working on other models and will put links to these models here.
How do I attach it to my phone or phone case?
I just used double sided sticky tape. There may be other solutions but I wanted to be able to remove it if I had to. If you have a suggestion let us know.
