BOM:

2x Lenses ( Glasses are designed to fit the common cheap chinese Ray-Ban / 80's style sunglasses)

1x M3x4mm (Linsenschraube mit Innensechskant ISO 7380)

1x Frame

2x Flex Connectors

2x Arms (in 1 CAD File)

Assembly:

FIRST Print the lens dummy and check with your lens to ensure it would fit.

---------( optinal take the finished glasses to an optican and get custom lenses made. )

Sand srame ( i sandblasted the frame for a nice matt finish), especially the part that sits on your nose.                                                           Check that the lenses fit the frame.

Thread the M3x4mm screw into the frame to create the thread. If the tread doesn't start you can use a thread cutter or enlarge the hole with a D2.5mm drillbit.

Insert Flex Connectors into frame. Tolerance is on the larger side, so if you have an accurate printer you may need to apply glue (gel based superlglue works best.)

Now you can put the arms on the Flex Connectors (! 2 different sides). Again you may need to apply glue.

The final step is to  insert the lenses and tighten the screw.

I will include a lens dummy so you can determine if your lens would fit.

The glasses were designed in Creo Parametric 6.0 all source files will be included.
