Dragon's Egg Lightshade

Prints (0)

Description

Inspired by a dragon's egg.. or what they could look like if you imagined one ;-) Design intended for dualstrusion, but monostruders, do not despair: You can print "Net" or "Surface" as standalones. Circa 11 cm high, scale as needed. So there are two different models: One where the pattern is embedded near the surface. (Left) And one where the pattern is completely embedded in the shell. (Right)

Hey Virtox we are Tea after Twelve the first online publication gathering good ideas and inspiration from all over the world. Our goal is to feature the ideas of the Young Global Leaders on social innovation, tech inventions and responsible entrepreneurship. Under slogan "Think different and spread the idea" we created a new LinkedIn-Group, where we invite all creative minds to share surprising stories, new inventions, scientific breakthroughs, and more. Our current discussion is about the best ideas and the limits of 3D Printing. I just saw the pictures of your 3D designs and thought that it would be wonderful if you could join our discussion and tell us a little about your concept behind your ideas and maybe give you opinion on the potential and/or danger of 3D printing. It would also be a great opportunity for you to promote your work. This is the link https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Tea-after-Twelve-Think-Different-8286192/about And this is our webmag: http://www.tea-after-twelve.com/ Let me hear from you. All the best, Alice
