Heat Bed Clip for PEI or Glass

Description

Summary I made this to clip a 8"x8" sheet of 1mm PEI to the aluminum bed of a Wanhao i3 plus. The front half measures 16mm deep to reach the PEI centered on the aluminum bed. The inside of the clip is 4.6mm high which seems about right for the thickness of my bed + the PEI. The front of the clip is intentionally smaller to provide some tension on the PEI, but the material used to print has to have a little flex to it. The back half of the clip helps to open open it. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .4 Infill: none Notes: I used Maker Geeks Raptor PLA, but most any PLA will work fine unless you run high bed temps. Otherwise ABS or PETG should be used. Post-Printing I used MakerGeeks Raptor PLA and annealed it. When it's warm it's very pliable and you can adjust as needed to fit the bed and PEI by squeezing the front of the clip a bit. (be careful, it;s hot!)
