Description
Summary I was needing a way of measuring an angle for another design I am working on. This is a design for a sliding bevel gauge that is commonly used in cabinet making to measure angles. It has been scaled to fit in small spaces but still be usable with a common plastic protractor. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 1 Rafts: No Supports: No Post-Printing The hinge is made using a piece of filament. Assemble the pieces and poke a short length of filament through the hole to form the hinge. I used some superglue to glue the filament in place. I did try using hot pliers to form a rivet but that didn't work that well. When glueing, squeeze the arms of the outer piece together tightly so that there is enough friction to hold the arm in place when making measurements.
