Description

Summary My 4th Generation iPod Shuffle's clip was not large enough to fully clip onto my work badge lanyard, so I created a holder that slides onto the lanyard and holds the Shuffle snug as a bug in a rug. After using it for about a month, I added a hole in the bottom so that crumbs do not accumulate in the bottom of the holder. I am a piggie. Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 100% Notes: Print it vertically so that it does not need supports, and the box is stronger. I made the case snug. I also made the slide snug. This was so that my Shuffle would stay in place. Put it on your lanyard by feeding one cord in at a time, pushing off to the side so that the other cord can fit. It helps to pull the cord tight and work it in back and forth. It is snug, but it does slide up and down once both sides are in. If you want to make it easier to take on and off, you can enlarge the slide part (but it will be less secure) How I Designed This I first made a rectangular cube that was the exact size of the shuffle, and then built that box around that. I gave it no tolerance. When the part is printed vertically, the walls are strong enough to flex just a bit, and hold the Shuffle in place nicely.
