Xbox One Controller Faceplate

Prints (-1)

Description

I found a great faceplate scan online from a user named _tails, and redesigned the model to have much more sturdy built in supports.  I printed this in Hatchbox Wood PLA, sanded with 80 grit, 120 grit, and 220 grit sandpaper, stained it with a Red Mahogany Minwax Stain Pen, and then Sprayed several coats of water based Polyurethane to protect the finish and give it a nice clear surface.   Really love the print.

The supports are a bit tricky to remove, so you want to be very careful.  I had to increase how sturdy they were because some of them were snapping off mid print causing failures.   Enjoy!

Thanks Krog! That was me! I had to upload this version because I redesigned some of the supports.

Thats a cool design, nothing wrong with it but are you able to make one so it can fit the elite controller with the special D-pad

It looks great! I've seen some pictures online with the back plate on the controller with wood as well. Do you also have that file?
