Description
SummaryMy first foray into printer accessories, I went for an organic appearance rather than the traditional geometric. The Wyrm Guide is two intertwined Wyrms made of trigonometry, coarse spheres, and OpenSCAD. The Wyrms are highly parameterized and modifiable to craft your own Wyrmy Thing. I updated the files to subtract the nozzle diameter, making for a snug fit (the original proved loose in testing) and also changed some of the parameters for a less tapered Wyrm (more Wyrmy I suppose). I can imagine a whole host of new printer accessories with style and theme rather than just functionality, maybe you will make one soon? Les InstructionsPrint it, clean it up, slide it on, feed filament through space between Wyrms or raise filement above Wyrm tails and twist Wyrms as filament lowers into position. Seat Wyrms to a comfortable, solid position above maximum travel desired of print head. Les
