The enclosure minimizes the cracking and warping of parts and provides a secure enclosure to keep dust and rodents and rugrats out of your printer. Added a slighly larger version of the latch, less critical on the printing dimensions.InstructionsThis latch was printed at 10% fill and a single shell. Depending on the quality of the print, it may require a little touching up to mate. Bolts together with an M3 machine screw. Latch requires a 8mm hole in the 3mm acrylic door, 4.5mm from the edge of the door. Latch handle base acts a stop for the door, and the handle rotates to lock. The mating pin and slot are eight sided, so the handle can be aligned at various angles relative to the latch arm. Works very smooth. An optional detent hole in the door fram can be used to create a more secure locking action. Version 2 is larger and less critically dependent on the printer tolerances.
