*** UPDATE 2023-03-15 ****
I added some new pictures and will soon add a new video link. Go check out our patreon https://www.patreon.com/d3design/membership if you would like to be able to sell the 3D print commercially.
*** UPDATE 2022-01-16*** I added a few requested mods, they are in the "requests" folder in the zip file. I will add more in the future.
I needed storage to clean up the mess that is my workspace. I looked at what was available and saw they were either too small, too flimsy or limited in the sense I would have to print so many different bins. I needed something practical and strong at the same time.
Initially I only wanted to make some drawers in a box, but then I was like "hey why don't I make it modular.... and while I'm at it why don't I make it mountable to walls, oh and add some more stackable containers on top.." Well you get the idea. It just grew and grew and so the Stack Master Pro was born. - https://youtu.be/3RZPaRHzjRE
Update Section
- ADDED DRAWER KNOBS THAT SLIDE IN, ONE WITH SMILEY FACE AND ONE FLAT, USE THE SMILEY FACE, IT WILL BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY :)
A totally Modular storage system. Here are some features: -Small drawers : 120mmx120mm x 25mm deep drawer - Larger Drawer 120mmx120mmx56.80mm deep drawer - There are different drawer sizes, one for small pieces and one for larger pieces. - 100% support free prints. - You can mount the boxes to each other using the rails or mount them to a wall and easily slide them off, put them on your desk and once you are done put them back on the wall. - There are 2 sizes of bins that slide into the top or sides if you really want to :) (don't do that) - Top mounted Large bin :114mmx177mmx65mm deep - Top mounted small bin : 60mmx177mmx65mm deep - There are holes on the front of the drawers so you can add your own handle or even a logo. - Room for tags to show what is inside each drawer. - Stackable bins for the tops. - Heavy duty design (could be used in self defense if required) - Modular drawers, yes that's right, divide the drawers into 2,3,4,5 up to 36 sections per drawer if your feeling adventurous. - Pins to cover slots that are not used so those tiny parts do not get stuck.
Tips to navigate all the files. - All the files you will need are in the zip file, the rest are copies so you can ignore them. They are only there so the files can be previewed. - The STl where everything is assembled is for display only. -There are 2 boxes, one with 4 drawers and one with 2 drawers. - There are special drawers for the top of each box, you could technically just print the bottom drawers file but there will be a small gap on the face. - There are 2 sets of bins that mount on the top, one set uses rails so they attach to the boxes and the other uses pins so they stack on top of each other. Note about the pins, I had some severe elephants foot on mine so I had to scale it down a little bit to make it fit, if it fits too loosely for you either scale it up a up or let me know and I can add some more variants. - The dividers are fairly self explanatory , there are different sizes and each size has a slots and NO slots version. - All the files are neatly in folders with clear names, if you struggle to figure out what to print let me know and I will provide some guidance / update this section.
Included is a PDF with the sizes of all the models. The PDF will also show you the print settings I used to print. There is also a Cura Profile file you can import to Cura to see what settings I used. I used a Creality CR10 V3 to do the prints.
