Z-Stepper Rod Indicator (tight-fit)

Description

After do so many prints with my Creality Ender 3 V2, I noticed that the Z-Stepper Rod was hard to determine when it was in movement. So I decided to design a cap that goes on top of the Z-Stepper Rod to indicate when the Z-Stepper is in motion. It took my 5 attempts to get the tight-fitting bottom hole on there. It will be a tight-fit for the cap. I print with supports to make a nice, clean surface on the top portion of the Rod Indicator. You can also flip the model 180 degrees and print like that. When printing in the standard configuration, make sure to remove all of the supports inside the bottom hole at the end of the print. The inner support should be cylindrical. I use tweezers to remove the supports.

When installing the Rod Indicator, first home the printer, and then make sure the Z-Motor its at rest. Next, hold the Z-Stepper rod with your right hand and align the Rod Indicator top with your printer orientation however you wish to see as the home position. Personally, I like the one of the points facing directly towards the back of the printer. While holding the Z-Stepper Rod, push the part downwards onto top portion of the Z-Stepper rod. It should fit tightly. To remove, grasp the Z-Stepper Rod with your right hand then twist and pull up on the Indicator counter-clockwise.
