Logitech Brake Pedal MOD for Xbox, PlayStation, or PC

This modification works with all Logitech Force Feedback wheel/pedal sets and greatly improves the feel of the brake pedal. Many users complain that the pedal is either too stiff or not stiff enough. This product solves all of that. It simply stiffens the spring and reduces the overall travel distance making the pedal stiffer the harder you press. This mod is meant to be used with a potentiometer and not a load cell pedal set. 

TO UTILIZE THE MOD YOU MUST TAKE THE PEDAL SET APART, remove all bottom screws and then take the cover off. After taking the cover off remove the screws holding the black or red spring cover that is closest to the brake pedal. While you have the base apart you may also want to consider changing the pedal angles to better fit your type of driving by removing the metal pedal plates. After removing the spring cover simply take out BOTH plastic inserts and the black rubber stopper. Twist the mod onto the spring as shown above and then start rebuilding the pedal base. While screwing the mod onto the spring it may be helpful to have gloves on to prevent your hands from getting torn up from the plastic. Also, while setting this up, because of the springs increased tension and decreased travel distance it might be helpful to have another person holding the pedal in place while screwing it back in.
