Stylish soap dish with lid

Description

This is a beautiful soap dish with a voronoi-style inlay and a engraved lid which makes it a complete set which is also a great companion for travelling.

You can print this perfectly fine with PLA, silky colors (e.g. blue, silver or gold) look very nice, just like the marble colored PLA I used for the sample print you can see in the images for this design.

Dimensions: This design comes out at ca. 90mm width, 120mm length and 56mm height. You do not need to print the lid if you do not want to use it.

Printing tips:

Sample print shown in images was made using Cura 4.8.0 as slicer and an Artillery Sidewinder X1.

Settings used in Cura:

First Layer: 0.20mm Other Layers: 0.25mm Infill: 20% Speed: 65 mm/s Support Structure: Yes Brim: Yes, 8 lines in total

Material: PLA (200C for nozzle and 65C for printer bed)

Make sure to level your printer bed correctly before starting this print. The surface/bed of the bottom piece and the lid should be printed face down, e.g. lying on the printer bed. This will reduce print time and use of filament.

If you want a smoother finish, you can rotate the bottom and top part by 180 degrees (so that the flat sides will not lay on printer bed) and enable the ironing function. Looks great!
