J. Prusa really built an incredible machine.

This printer needs no comment. It's incredible, remember? But to achieve this, it needs to be calibrated like a boss. Be in mind that piece of paper put between the nozzle and the bed it is just a last check when the printer is already FULL calibrated. Only noobies believe that a single paper make miracles. If it wsa a Graber i3, the work/fun will be bigger. Print new X axe supports (motor and idle)and throw away the old plywood ones. Change the ordinary 5mm threaded bars of Z axe to 8mm trapezoid threaded bars. These printers can print high quality pieces, believe it.

Not exactly cheap but good value for money in the end imo, amazing detail and a very active & helpful community.

Bought the MK3S+ kit and assembled it which was a joyful experience and a good way to get to know the workings of the printer.  It prints very well and the detail is amazing; it is also very quiet. Once I got the hang of the printer, the MMU2S kit arrived; getting that to work was a bit of a challenge though. However, through the very active and helpful community I made various modifications that make the combo much easier to work with especially with concern to the MMU2S and the dreadful filament buffer which is now eliminated.
