My name is Tyson and I received a Certificate in 3D Modeling and Printing from the Center for Design, Digital Arts, and Film at New York University in December 2015. I started scrintr3D LLC (scrintr3D.com or scrintr3D's Hub on 3DHubs.com) with an idea to leverage the availability, capabilities and integration of 3D modeling, printing and scanning technology to inspire all Makers, Experimenters and Entreprenuers. scrintr3D LLC develops and produces stereolithography (SLA) 3D-printed parts and accessories for engineering, prototyping, research and artistic uses. I work primarily with 3D file types .stl and .obj, and print in high-quality laser-cured photopolymer resin which has a superior finish to filament printers. scrintr3D LLC is a proud user of the Form 2 3D-printer and high-quality resins from Formlabs. Their cutting-edge system is excellent for small-batch manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and cost-effective form iterations. I can also use suitable photopolymer resins from alternate manufacturers, as the Form 2 has an "open" mode, as well. Printed objects are rinsed in 91% isopropyl alcohol and post-cured in my homemade UV-oven for maximum strength, then lightly sanded for a beautiful finish. In most cases, a support structure is needed for a successful SLA print. Additional post-process finishing (single color spray painting, UV-protectant, mineral oil polish, etc.) of an object can also be requested prior to shipping. I'll put up more pictures as I produce more prints. Thanks!
