First started making as a youngster with a Meccano set, progressed through minor electronics projects, handcrafts, graphic art, scenic and macro photography to building and remodify my own PCs, while still maintaining, updating and applying previously aquired skills on new endeavours. I thoroughly enjoy working in fine detail and am presently honing my soldering skills with SMD components and kits for incorporation into small-sized device application and have just recently certified to the IPC J-STD-001G CIS standard with A.R.T. in Witham. Worked with AutoCAD since 1990 and expanded range of other CAD program experience over time, including a Basic 3D printing course with London Software Training back in Jan '18 and an upcoming Intermediate 3D printing course with LST in July this year. Now using Fusion360 for design & 3D printing, primarily for function while bearing in mind the role and application of aesthetics. Adapting existing tech to enhance function and capabilities while keeping elegance and simplicity in mind. My process for achieving an idea: Intent = Believe with absolute faith in the possibility of what can be done Imagineer = Be creative in the method to achieve it, preparation being key Initiate = Get on with it and follow through with it. and... Anything is possible!
