The PS5 is compatible with four-channel Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs, standard Blu-ray discs, and DVDs. However, Sony's blog post from last week didn't mention whether the region-free status was expanded to discs. The PS4 was locked to Region 4 to play non-gaming games in Australia. So, for now, we anticipate this will be carried over to this new model.
