QM Marble Run - 10 Piece Set

Description

I have always loved marble runs. Fortunately for me, so do my kids. We have downloaded and purchased quite a few marble runs on various sites and they all work well enough but at some point they all lacked something here or they were over-complicated to where adults could enjoy them but the kids got frustrated. So I decided to create one for both me and my kids. Something fun, easy, and most of all, functional. The QM (QuirkyMojo) Marble Run has been designed for both kids and adults. It is a basic cube design. Each cube has a function. Simple but when pieced together with other basic cubes, the designs can become very interesting and complex.

This is the basic QM Marble Run Set. This set has been designed to be simple, functional, and most of all Fun! The set comes with 9 pieces in all. As mentioned before each cube has a specific function and can be combined in countless ways. The cubes are designed to be stacked and the cubes can be joined side-by side with the addition of the Cube Binder piece. You will also notice every cube has a design depicting the function of the cube. (My kids dig this) You will have the best experience if you play with the set on a smooth / hard surface or a cutting board like we do at my house :)

This set includes the following pieces:

1 - Launch Cube - This Cube is designed to be the first Cube in the set but can also be placed anywhere within the set to accelerate your marble.

2 - Straight Cube - This Cube is a straight shot from one side of the cube to the other. This is your standard track cube.

3 - Tunnel Cube - Similar to the Straight Cube but is enclosed at the top.

4 - A Four-Way Intersection Cube - This cube is a 4-way intersection. This cube can be used to allow traffic from all four sides.

5 - Single Drop Cube - This cube receives a marble from one direction and passes it down to the cube directly below it.

6 - Four-Way Drop Cube - This cube can receive marbles from all four directions and passes the marbles down to the cube directly below.

7 - A 90 Degree Turn Cube - This is a universal 90 Degree Turn Cube that can be used anywhere in the track design.

8 - Support Cube - This is a quick print cube that can be used as a standard support or as a pass-down cube to allow marbles to fall longer distances than a single cube.

9 - Cube Binder - Each of the cubes is designed to stack on top of one another and to connect to each other side-by-side with the Cube Binder clip. This is a small rectangular piece that allows the cubes to be interlocked without permanently connecting them and allows connections on all kinds of surfaces.

10- Cube Top Binder - This binder is for the upper portions of the cube. When cubes are already interconnected on the bottom this binder will allow adjacent cubes to be connect on the top portion of the cubes.

I am always designing additions to this Marble Run so please check back often.

**Note** - The Binder clip is somewhat small, so please keep away from small children.

This set can be printed with NO supports and prints very well at with the following settings or similar:

PLA or PLA+

Bed Temp 70c

Extruder Temp 200c

Resolution .2 or .15 if you're a patient person :)

If you are feeling generous please consider donating to the cause. I understand times are tough for everyone right now. So every little bit will be greatly appreciated. The basic components of this Marble Run are free. This is meant to bring people together and so parents can have fun WITH their kids. Fun is always more important than money, so please enjoy and let me know what you think.

Thank you all for everything and Enjoy!
