Description

SummaryThis is a project building a Drill Powered Filament Winder. It is the other half of the Legacy Benchtop Extruder from my Kickstarter project that I am still working on. As of July 2015, the Legacy prototype is at Lake Washington Institute of Technology being updated and re-engineered into a kit. The idea is to have a winder that can be operated, and adjusted by handle, power tool and be upgradable to 110V. Also, we wanted to have control via the Arduino 2650 board. Please be patient as I upload files after I print & test them. This is an Open Source Winder and any input is appreciated. Note: I am not an engineer, so I am printing, testing, hacking it together with the idea that if I can do it, anyone can do it. =) The drill I am using is a Rigid cordless model http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:934326
