The printer I bought is not new.
In principle, the print was not very good - the lack of settings in the XYZ slicer affected it. The design of the feeder and extruder is very proprietary and could not satisfy my needs. The printer did not want to accept other filaments. I think it’s not worth mentioning the proprietary filament, it is good but not cheap at all.
In general, I designed and printed a new carriage for the BMG Aero all metal and Volcano, replaced the board with the MKS GenL and handed over the control to Octoprint. I changed the heating bed to silicone and borosilicate glass (in the original, too, borosilicate glass but a thinner and 12 volt copper heater).
After such a rebuild, the printer quietly prints with the entire range of filament except high-temperature (well, I haven’t tried it with nylon yet).
And now I am completely satisfied although from the original crafts from XYZ there was only a neat and nice appearance and some mechanical components.
In my plans are blower for the print zone to improve PLA printing, a 405nm laser to expose the film photoresist. Maybe quiet drivers, but this is not important for me.
This is a “dummy” printer that can be converted to a normal full-featured device.. So i did not recommend this printer without rebuilding the extruder and control board.
All stars is for original (like new from box) printer.
