This model represents the shape of a generic 45mm (1 3/4inch) tripod quick release plate.
As such it can be used to attach something to a tripod, like a GuerillaBeam base unit.
It also has a smooth bore for (small) tripod screws (use a tripod screw and possibly some heat to cut the threads).
