My mother was the one with the green thumb. She grew up on a farm and I grew up watching her tend to her garden without giving a second thought as to the lifetime of knowledge and experience it takes to foster living things. Now I am trying to grow herbs in my sun-less apartment and am learning the hard way about utilizing soil, watering, germination, seedlings, legginess, and most importantly.. light! So this little planter pendant really hits home for me and makes me wonder what sort of tiny plant will survive in this tiny container. I think all girls would appreciate a tiny plant necklace even if the plant lasts for only a week XD The shape is so cute that if the plant dies, she can always wear it with a tiny note rolled up inside so she can carry around an important piece of her thoughts. Print one for your favourite person now!

SD Card Mountain by 3DBrooklyn

I never appreciated the mountains in Vancouver until I lived in a big city in China where there were no mountains or blue skies! When I came back, I went hiking almost every weekend. I love this design because it reminds me of the awesome mountains we have at home (even if you can’t see them on a cloudy day!). What a great design that’s both functional and visually appealing. Made by none other than our Designer of the Month, 3DBrooklyn.

Fidget Star by mathgrrl

I’m a big fan of prints that print in one piece and still move, and this one is fantastic. The one and only mathgrrl recently uploaded all of her designs to Pinshape, and there are some really awesome ones so it was hard to choose my favorite. This one came out on top because it’s fun to play with and is exactly the type of thing I love having around my desk to keep my hands busy while I’m thinking. Enjoy!

We’ve all heard the recent news about how artists scanned Nefertiti’s bust using photogrammetry, and then used the scanned data to recreate the bust to share with the rest of the world (speculation surrounds this piece of news story on whether artists actually covertly used a scanner). I’ve been seeing prints online of the scanned bust, but it wasn’t till now that I saw this remixed one adding a bit of spice to the Egyptian queen! Love how it looks like she’s wearing a veil now with the voronoi design!

There’s been plenty of times where I’ve turned my house upside down just to find an AA battery. Either for my mouse or the XBOX controller. This AAA to AA will come super handy as I’ve got rechargeable AAA batteries I can use in a pinch. Easy and simple print that solves a problem. I dig these kinds of designs :).
