A colleague of mine got himself a new Chart Plotter/GPS/Fish-finder for his fishing boat. He as a number of Scotty Mounts so he asked me if I could design and print him a Scotty to RAM 1" Ball adaptor.
Here is the result. A Scotty to RAM 1" Ball Mount. One has a solid ball and the other is open so a M8X80 can be inserted to reinforce it. I did want it to fail in heavy sea and have the RayMarine end up overboard!I also did a simple RAM 1" Ball mount.
Printed in PETG and design to print without support. I printed at .2 and .15. I used 4 Perimeters and 40% and 50% infill to give it strength.
The Scotty are design for a very thight fit adn no play. You may need to adjust print setting and/or X and Y scale to achieve desired fit.
