Summary After mounting my filament holder on the control box I noticed some extrusion issues associated with the filament causing too much force perpendicular to the extruder for it to pull filament through effectively - This part is designed to be used in conjunction with PTFE tubing much like a bowden tube to eliminate this sideways force entirely.
