Description

Summary A replacement pocket for above the stereo. It's flatter and deeper than the factory pocket, and has a cutout in the rear through which a cable can be fed. Recommended print orientation is with the face upwards, to minimize supports and mess. Slice with supports. TODO: Increase the faceplate size by about 1mm in height, and 2mm in width. There are two angled tabs on the sides that are broken off my factory pocket, so getting those modeled has been slow. These prevent the pocket from sliding in too far. There are two self-sprung/live ratchet style anchors needed for the top of the pocket to help hold it in place. Radius the corners. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .15 Infill: 20% Notes: Print with the faceplate up. This means that the tabs on the faceplate will have supports. Otherwise the cavity will be filled with them, very hard to clean up and will look terrible.
