Giant Spiky Perko Knot
Free

This knot was created by exporting a model from KnotPlot and then adding extrusions to each mesh face in TopMod, then printed with an Ultimaker 3 using dissolvable PVA supports (the second picture shows the newly-printed knot in a bucket being filled with water).

Inspiration and KnotPlot model are credited by my student Jonathan Gerhard; you can read about his related project on his blog Mathematical ADD here: The Perko Praxinoscope and the Shrikhande Graph.

For information about how this model was designed and printed, read the Giant Spiky Perko Knotpost on Hacktastic.
