Summary Got fed up with the mess of USB cables and shortage of ports on the wall chargers. Ordered a 6-port USB wall charger (from RavPower). Designed and printed this holder to fit around the leg of an Ikea Lack table, held clamped with a single (hidden) zip-tie. It works. Clearly this is a holder very specific to this charger and table.
