I've been using this magnetic base in the machine shop to hold a dial indicator for leveling/squaring up machines and materials. Thought it would be handy to add a GoPro mount for attaching to my various machines, insuring I can get that perfect angle I can't reach with a tripod.
You'll need the Harbor Freight magnetic base (or pick one up on Amazon, I'm sure the rod sizes are the same), 1/4-20 threaded rod and nuts for it....oh yeah and a GoPro.
