Pine A64+ Case - 21/3 Rev

Description

SummarySeeing as all the cases on here were designed to use hardware (i.e. nuts and bolts, screws and so on), I didn't feel like designing a case that would use hardware, so I came up with one that would be a snap-fit. The centre grille has been designed for a 40mm case fan, with the pins set at 4mm in each for mounting the fan up. The top of the pins for the fan shouldn't contact the board. The overall height should support about 30mm above the top of the board (give or take, I only got the A64+ with IR addon). The IR addon section has been designed so that if you cut the IR receiver legs down so that it sits with the bottom being flush with the top of the port, it will slide in and pop out in the spot. I haven't added a hole for the power/reset button yet, as I will be using mine as a media server but I have made the Solidworks (2015) files available should you choose to modify. Please note that this is a work in progress and may change as I see the need for it to :) Enjoy!Print SettingsPrinter Brand: MakerBotPrinter: MakerBot Replicator 2Rafts: YesSupports: NoResolution: 0.3Infill: 15%Notes: Print whatever works best for you, I ran the first prototype at 0.3mm layers. It stopped mid print due to an under-driven fan so will re-attempt when the replacement fan gets here. Engineered the bottom grille to suit a 40mm case fan.How I Designed ThisUsing Solidworks and my trusty 150mm ruler, I worked out hole centres, heights (+ 0.5mm each way for clearance) and drew it up.
