Hexane, C6H14, is an open chain of six carbons with fourteen hydrogens packed around it. That makes 20 atoms and 19 bonds, all of them single: no rings, no double bonds, no stereocentres and no polar groups on the chain.
Each sphere in this ball-and-stick print has its element symbol engraved into the surface, so every C and every H can be read straight off the part, no paint or colour key needed. All six carbons are sp3, which makes it a good reference piece next to other simple hydrocarbons.
Printing notes: scale the model up in your slicer before printing. Plain PLA on any FDM printer is fine. Add light supports under the bonds and the lower spheres, and use a fine layer height so the engraved letters stay crisp.
Atom positions come from a computed 3D conformer. Shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, made by MolGod.
