L-menthol, C10H20O, is an alcohol built on a single six-membered carbon ring carrying a hydroxyl (-OH) group: 31 atoms joined by 31 single bonds.
This is a ball-and-stick print where every sphere has its element symbol engraved into the surface, so the ten carbons, the oxygen and the twenty hydrogens are easy to tell apart without any painting. The molecule has three stereocentres (R, S, R), and the 3D shape of the ring is easy to follow in your hand. It is one solid mesh, nothing to assemble or glue.
Printing notes: the STL is exported in angstroms, so scale it up 10x in your slicer (1 angstrom becomes 10 mm). Plain PLA works fine. Add supports under the bonds and the lower spheres; a fine layer height keeps the engraved letters sharp.
Atom positions come from a computed 3D conformer. Shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, made by MolGod.
