Benzene molecular model (C6H6, CAS 71-43-2): a free, print-ready ball-and-stick model with the element symbol engraved on every atom, designed for chemistry lessons.
Let the group sketch what they see in Benzene, namely one aromatic 6-membered ring; afterwards they compare the sketch with the 12 bonds on the model (6 single and 6 aromatic). Counting task: 6 C + 6 H gives 12 engraved spheres; can the class rebuild the formula C6H6 from the model alone? Pair it with pyridine (CAS 110-86-1) from the same collection to compare closely related structures. Ask the class why this molecule cannot hydrogen-bond to itself: the computed count of donors and acceptors is zero. Lesson link: aromaticity and delocalised electrons.
Printing: the STL is in angstrom units - scale it 10x in the slicer (1 angstrom = 10 mm). Use supports under the bonds; PLA works well.
