I'm considering buying a simulator to play at home (like SkyTrak or Mevo+). Does anyone have experience - is it really possible to improve your skill with it or is it more entertainment than training? Does it make sense to buy it if you plan to seriously improve the game?

I've been using a simulator at home for almost a year now, and I can say for sure that if you take a home golf simulator , like Foresight Sports, it's more than just a "toy". They have a great section specifically for home installation, so check out their official website. Everything is thought out there - from the size of the room to the different levels of equipment. The most valuable thing is the tracking accuracy, especially if you want to practice your shots, and not just throw balls for fun.
