Announcing the Print and Share Contest Winner!
We hope you had fun printing and snapping creative shots of your work for our Print and Share contest! You took some incredible photos of your prints and we had a blast going through them.
Pictures were judged based on photo and video creativity, the clarity and lighting in the photo/video, and the creativity of the caption in your post. The winner of this contest will receive an Einscan-S 3D Scanner, courtesy of Shining3d.
Without further ado, the winner for the Print and Share contest is…
MakersPlace
Congratulations! You’ve won an Einscan-S 3D Scanner!
The angle and the lighting in this photo really bring Aria the Dragon to life. The image has a medieval feeling and we can almost hear Aria roar proudly at anyone who dares come near the castle she is protecting. Great work by MakersPlace on creating this wonderful print and capturing this epic photo!

We received so many awesome entries we really want to share and give honourable mention to other entries that stood out:
Rémi Darcillon
Not only did this print of MakerTron turn out great, the background and stance of MakerTron creates a dramatic and powerful image. This 3D printed robot looks like he is about to take off to save the world.
Print of MakerTron designed by Mold3D
Frew
It’s easy to see how Frew was voted Maker of the year by Pinshapers in the 2015 Pinshape Awards! For his entry, he combined two different prints to create this awesome .gif of fish and tug boats swimming across a desk!
Print of Graphica: Fish designed by 3DKitbash.com
Duplicat
Duplicat did a great job removing all the supports from this design and post processing it with paints and an airbrush. The colouring really gives the photo a magical touch. This is one dragon we definitely don’t want to mess with.
Print of Low-Medium Poly Alduin Skyrim designed by ScientificPanda
A very special thank-you to Shining3D for providing such an awesome 3D scanner! We can’t wait to see what MakersPlace scans with it.
Thank-you to everyone who entered our Print and Share contest. Unfortunately we could only choose one winner for this contest so if you didn’t win this time, never fear! Keep your eyes peeled for our next print contest coming soon.
