Warhammer 40K - Inquisitor Sword - 3D Printed by Sc1re

Once i printed it, I epoxied it together with 5mm threaded rods(fastenal is awesome!) and I used Bondo to help hide the gaps and sand back down. I used sandable filler primer to lay down the first coat. I used metallic copper acrylics for the handle, antique white acrylic for the skull, and car chrome for the blade, and wrapped the handle in 1/8" red leather lace from Micheal's. I then applied a coat of high gloss clear coat to the blade and crossguard, and a matte clear coat to the pommel. I wrapped the leather with tape while doing this. a few tricks that helped me out, if you need to touch up spray paint, spray a bit into the lid and you can paint it with a small brush. - From Jairus of All wrapping a layer of ape inside out allows you to wrap something(like leather) without worrying about damaging the material beneath, - From Alex Steele
