My Thoughts
Unfortunately, I didn't print out this beautiful scarab box. I got it off Graeme Bennett during the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire and he's a part of the 3D604 Google group, and has been a innovator in residence for various public libraries in Vancouver and surrounding areas! To get the gorgeous gold shine, he printed it out in gold filament, then went over the top again with a bit of paint. He also talked about how he had originally changed the gem on the scarab to make it more like it was "cut", but Louise explained that in ancient Egypt, the games were actually more rounded. In respect to her and her design, he now prints them as per Louise's design :)
